nikita nanditha many of the inmates are graduating in june-july 2014 (incl. me). out of us, many have not yet received mess refunds (some right from july-dec 2012). i have spoken with mess manager and mess co/secy (current and prev) many times till date, but the responses are mostly evasive. Some times i was told that the refunds were already approved & that we would get them within a week or two. other times i was told that the canara bank a/c nos. of some inmates were not obtained yet. another reason was that the students who have left H-11 (shifted to other hostels/ left iit campus) have 2 be contacted; then their details will be incorporated with our details & only then sent to canara bank for bulk processing. please look into this matter ASAP A suggestion is that since majority of us have provided details as required, we must be refunded soon (since it is already mid-june); those whose a/c nos. are unavailable/ aren't staying in this hostel may be refunded at a later date. |

I checked my bank a/c now. I have received a refund of Rs. 2051/- under the tag "REFUND FOR THE SEMISTER BAL AMT." (I don't know which semester this refers to; please confirm).
I have also received an amount of Rs. 3028/- under the tag "Reimbursement from IITB". can u please check and tell me whether this transaction is related my mess refund???

People who passed out in 2013 batch have not yet got their refunds. Our accounts are supposed to get expired in september 2014. Is anyone looking into refunds of people who have already passed out last year?
